Endgame is a 2006 book by Derrick Jensen, an American environmental activist, author and ecophilosopher in the anarcho-primitivist tradition, who argues that human civilization is and has always been unsustainable for the planet.

Jensen, born in 1960 and trained as a mineral engineer before turning to writing, builds his thinking around the destructive tendencies of Western culture and how they spread between people and generations. The book belongs to a wider body of work in which he moved from writing on environmental issues in the 1990s toward advocating radical resistance against what he calls the murder of the planet.

The book is part of his critical reflection on the industrial system and humanity's relationship with the natural world. Jensen is regarded as a prominent figure in contemporary radical ecology, and his work has been widely read in activist circles, though his more extreme positions have also drawn debate.
